When sweet ol’ Ray Jessel walked into the stage, everyone was expecting a beautiful and heartwarming act from a senior who has not given up on his dream. While that might be true (for most parts), there’s nothing that can prepare them for what was about to happen.

Ray loves to write about romance –whether it’s love gained or love lost. He is a romantic at heart which is supposed to yield a pretty sweet performance.

But it was just raunchy as hell, as he sang one of the original songs he wrote.

The song started out great. The audience felt like  front seat passengers of a budding love story but there was something more. Everyone was curious, nervous if you may about what’s going to happen.

The chorus of the song goes:

She’s got that style. She’s got that smile
She’s got the walk. She’s got the talk
She’s got that zing. There’s just one thing
She’s got a p****!

Everyone was confused. One can easily discern from the audience’s s faces that they were second guessing themselves. ‘’Did I just hear p****?’’

It finally sank in. Ray Jessel is not your typical old guy who will give a heartwarming performance. He was there to leave a mark with an edgy performance that is untypical for a guy his age.

Hans– a self-proclaimed international superstar, s** symbol, accordian, songwriter, Madonna fan — graced the stage of America’s Got Talent and brought non-stop confusion, fun and laughter!

The Berlin wonderboy is a natural at making people’s sides split. Simon asked Hans if he is a full-time performer, to which he responded: ‘’Honey for me, being a celebrity is a full time job. You know, you understand. It really is an act of charity,’’ Hans told Simon.

And when asked if thinks he could win the show, Hands beat around the bush but basically said yes by saying: ‘’Simon, I give you a Beyonce style show on a Demi Lovato budget.’’

At one point, he gave Mel the impression that he has met Simon before. The Berliner was quick to deny it but claims he may be stirring something that’s been brewing inside him for a while now, implying that he might be gay.

Hans started his performance with a ‘’good old fashion German sing-a-long’’ which sounded like a really good idea at first but ended up confusing the audience. After which, he played the intro of Tina Turner’s Proud Mary in a modified and very slow way.

Tim and his son Jack from Norfolk, Norwich graced the stage of Britain’s Got Talent and got everyone bawling their eyes out with their singing performance.

Tim came from a family of singers. His father was also a singer and it’s only natural that Jack would pick up on it because it runs in the blood. Tim has always wanted a kid and is ecstatic to have Jack and three other children in his life. He is a full time dad to his kids.

Other than music, the duo is also keen on doing something together, which is what pushed them to audition for BGT.

‘’I’ve always wanted to do something with my dad like this. We thought BGT would be the right thing. It’s really amazing when I get to play with my dad,’’ Jack said in the interview.

Tim even provided a wonderful advice to his son: when they are performing, they play for each other. Everyone else is gone.

Not only was the song they sang turned out to be beautiful, their overall chemistry in front of millions was absolutely superb. The song was so relatable that it moved everyone to tears as you will soon find out.

Jack is a natural at making people laugh. He jokingly said he is particularly scared of Simon and Alesha, but Alesha might be a little more sympathetic now that she has a kid.

20-year-old Joseph O’Brien from Columbia, Tennessee came to audition for America’s Got Talent and made everyone swoon over his rendition of Lionel Richie’s ‘’Hello.’’ Two of the things really stood out about this young singer: first, his voice is so incredible and; two, he has never had a girlfriend!

O’Brien came to the competition alone, which piqued the judges’ interest. ‘’Did you leave somebody at home? Do you have a girlfriend or wife?’’ Heidi asked.

‘’No I don’t have a girlfriend. I’ve actually been single my entire life,’’ O’Brien responded.

The judges were quick to yell out, ‘’Noooo…’’ in disbelief. The guy was so sweet and a total charmer.

Meanwhile, the ladies in the crowd were quick to applaud his relationship status. After all, he looks like a long lost Jonas Brother–a fourth one with his beautiful curly hair and gorgeous face that totally looks like the famous siblings.

The singer added that he has never been on a legit date. Heidi asked if he at least got ‘’snogged,’’ which caught the attention of the other judges who thought it might be something dirty –but really, simply means kissed. The young singer has never kissed anyone either and it made him look even sweeter and a total gentleman.

Amanda Mena was bullied most of her childhood. What got her through all that is her love for music.

The 15-year-old hails from Massachusetts but she was born in Dominican Republic and spent the first four years of her life there. When her family moved to the United States, she did not speak a word of English which caused her to be unwanted and even bullied for being different.

When Howie asked her if music is just hobby, she answered, ‘’I feel like my experiences really connects me to music. I just love it.’’

The teenager said that two things got her through those very difficult time: music and her mom!

She added, ‘’I was raised in the Dominican Republic until I was 4 years old. When I came here, I did not know a word of English and I got bullied a lot so all that kinda gave me tough skin.’’

Amanda chose “Natural Woman’’ as her audition piece. When she sang, there was so much beauty and passion in her voice. The crowd can really tell that her music comes from a good place –one that is triumphant and joyous. Overcoming all those struggles during childhood really deepened her connection with music and it’s always an amazing thing to witness.
