Loud children in an indoor pool might sound like a nightmare in most occasions. In this video, however, when a youth choir begins to sing in perfect harmony, it’s one of the most hauntingly beautiful sounds like something from a dream.

The talented youth choir stands at the edge of the pool and begin to sing a song called “I Believe” by Mark A. Miller. The song’s lyrics come from a poem written on the walls of a concentration camp in Cologne, Germany.

No one knows who wrote the poem, but the words are extremely powerful. Words written during the time of the Holocaust are enough to give anyone chills. “I believe in the sun even when it’s not shining. I believe in love, even when I don’t feel it. I believe in God, even when he is silent.”

Since the indoor pool’s open space, along with the water, help reflect and reverberate sound, the cumulative sound of all of their voices will give you goosebumps. It’s absolutely crazy that the beautiful, yet haunting, song was performed by kids in a pool!
