This Dog Chased An Ambulance Because His Owner Was Inside

Once the vehicle stopped, the puzzled driver opened the door only to see the dog climb aboard…and sit next to his master.

As reported by LifeBuzz, a man was walking with his dog in Goiana, Brazil when he suffered an epileptic seizure and lost consciousness. Paramedics were called to the scene, but when they took the man away in the ambulance, his dog was left behind.

Paramedic Celiomar Ferreira do Couto said he and his crew were touched by the love and loyalty shown by the dog for his owner.

Couto said, “I’ve been doing this job for 19 years and I’ve never seen anything like it. Sometimes we arrive at the scene of an emergency and there are pets around but they are too shy for us to get close to and they often run way. I have never seen this reaction in all my career.“

We’re not sure what happened to the owner or the dog, but what we do know is that his dog is there to protect him!
