Nicole’s voice is certainly unique. It’s edgy, it’s unique, it’s powerful — but Simon wanted more from her. During the middle of her act, he yelled out, “Nicole, you can push this more.” That would be enough to throw anyone off kilter.

After Simon told Nicole he wanted “more” from her — she didn’t let his criticism spark up her nerves. In fact? All she did was take his advice and give him exactly what he asked for. The crowd was blown away.
