Pre-production continues on Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk television series for Disney+, with a new report listing a familiar face from the Marvel Cinematic Universe appearing in a radically different role: General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

According to Geeks Worldwide, William Hurt is poised to reprise his role as the MCU’s U.S. Secretary of State, who has a longstanding animosity towards Bruce Banner and—in the comics—a gamma-powered alter ego. The report claims Ross will transform into the Red Hulk over the course of the series, mirroring his comic book counterpart’s own super-powered character arc.
