The British ’80s New Wave musical group “Tears for Fears” is perhaps best known for their hit songs “Shout” and “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” which remain karaoke and old radio classics to this day. But a few years before that, their breakout single was a track called “Mad World.”

Almost twenty years after it was first released, a slowed-down version of “Mad World” was featured in the horror movie “Donnie Darko,” performed by “Michael Andrews” and “Gary Jules.” This has brought the album to a whole new generation of fans.

Now, through “BoingBoing” we’ve learned that during his “Coronavirus” quarantine, “Tears for Fears” “Curt Smith” played his classic song again, only this time with his young daughter, “Diva” Because she seems to have inherited the musical talent of her dad.

Yes, it seems that he definitely gave her the right name. In view of our present circumstances, there is no more fitting song than “Mad World” for both of them to perform together.
