When Oliver Graves walked into the stage, people thought he would do anything BUT comedy. He did not fit the bill with his messy black hair, dark circle around the eyes and tattered top!

Oliver- who hails from Santa Rosa, California- had a very somber vibe, dark if you may, when he came to the stage. He intrigued the audience and judges alike. Simon couldn’t help but smirk when he revealed that his bit will be stand up comedy.

It also doesn’t help his case that he looks like Edward Scissorhand who finally got human hands.

His first joke went, ‘’They say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Well, not if you’re poisoned. Then the antidote becomes the most important meal.’’

At first the audience was confused, although some of them chuckled. Howie certainly loved it from the moment he told the first joke and had been a fan of him throughout his bit. The crowd also grew to love him joke after joke after joke. His humor is dark and real, and he totally sold it.

20-year-old Joseph O’Brien from Columbia, Tennessee came to audition for America’s Got Talent and made everyone swoon over his rendition of Lionel Richie’s ‘’Hello.’’ Two of the things really stood out about this young singer: first, his voice is so incredible and; two, he has never had a girlfriend!

O’Brien came to the competition alone, which piqued the judges’ interest. ‘’Did you leave somebody at home? Do you have a girlfriend or wife?’’ Heidi asked.

‘’No I don’t have a girlfriend. I’ve actually been single my entire life,’’ O’Brien responded.

The judges were quick to yell out, ‘’Noooo…’’ in disbelief. The guy was so sweet and a total charmer.

Meanwhile, the ladies in the crowd were quick to applaud his relationship status. After all, he looks like a long lost Jonas Brother–a fourth one with his beautiful curly hair and gorgeous face that totally looks like the famous siblings.

The singer added that he has never been on a legit date. Heidi asked if he at least got ‘’snogged,’’ which caught the attention of the other judges who thought it might be something dirty –but really, simply means kissed. The young singer has never kissed anyone either and it made him look even sweeter and a total gentleman.

Transcend, an acrobatic duo who also happens to be married to each other, takes the stage of AGT to show off their strength, skills and flexibility in a trapeze performance.

There’s absolutely nothing easy about trapeze, let alone the routine of this two where they rely heavily on each other stunt after stunt to make it work. Cooperation is vital in their performance!

The performance begins with the husband upside down, holding his entire weight by curling his legs on two separate ropes. As if that’s not daring enough, he lift his his wife off the ground and now carrying two people with just his feet.

As the performance goeson, the stunts they pulled becomes more and more daring. They are so difficult there really isn’t any room for error. But then a mishap happened that could have costed them dearly.

Towards the end of the performance, the husband put on a blindfold over his eyes and his wife is supposed to drop head first so he can catch her without seeing her. Timing and feeling each other was crucial.

Whether it was nerves or the loud noise, I´m not sure, but the judges and the crowd were stunned when it went wrong; he caught her by the legs but then she slipped from his arms. For a brief moment, it was as if the everyone expected the worst. Of course they would, that was no shallow drop.

Christina Wells walks into the stage of America’s Got Talent with a winning attitude and a big smile on her face. After two decades, she is finally going to give her dream another shot.

The diva is a full time nurse and hails from Houston, Texas. When she was 19 years old, she had a real opportunity to become a singer. She practiced, went to auditions and even made it all the way to end. However, she was not chosen because ‘’wasn’t the right size.’’

Twenty three years and two sons later, Christina is giving her dream one more try not only for herself but to show her sons that it’s never too late.

She opens the audition with the Whitney Houston cover of George Benson’s The Greatest Love of All, doing a fair job. Until Simon throws a hand up after a few seconds, and she’s left fighting back tears.

Rather than just telling her to hit the road, Simon took notice of her potential, and asked her to sing A-Capella so her emotion could come through. Boy, did he really pop a lid there! Denise immediately gathered herself together to give the power ballad another shot.

Little did Simon know, he unleashed a vocal beast in the 41 year old singer. Drawing on inspiration from her life of hard work and precious memories, Denise reaches into her own depths and pulls off a performance that would have had Whitney herself in tears!
